The Draws of the 10th edition of the Female AFCON have been made

The draws of the 10th edition of the female AFCON 2016 hosted by Cameroon were made today to 18th September 2016 at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex. 
These draws were made in the presence of the CAF delegation,  delegations of participating Nations, the Government of Cameroon, football stakeholders and the Cameroon population.
The event also involved the presentation of the mascot named Lily.
Below are the teams and their pools:

Pool A: Yaounde Omnisport Stadium
Cameroon (his)
Egypt
South Africa
Zimbabwe

Pool B: Limbe Omnisport Stadium
Nigeria (cup holders)
Mali
Ghana
Kenya

The competition which shall run from the 19th November - 3rd December 2016 shall be opened at the Yaounde Omnisport Stadium by Cameroon VS Egypt.

Cameroon has participated in this competition 11 times and runners up in 1991,2004, and 2014.

Nigeria-cup holders have lifted the cup 9 times.
